With the 6th Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, releasing a week from today, I wanted to post one of my favorite recent interviews from the cast. This one is from the LA Times with Bonnie Wright, who plays Ron’s sister Ginny. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past six months, you know already that this is the movie where Harry falls for Ginny (if I ruined that for you, tough luck. Oh, and Snape kills Dumbledore).
The interview focuses on how Ginny has changed from her two or three lines in Sorcerer’s Stone to a full-fledged love interest in Half-Blood Prince. Personally, I love how Rowling took Ginny and made her more than just Ron’s sister (she did the same thing with the character of Neville and it was one of my favorite things in Hallows).
Warning: The interview has some moderate movie spoilers in it (some of which I am very hesitant about, but I’ll have to get into that during my review of Half-Blood Prince next week). You can check it out HERE.
