One year ago, I embarked on an endeavor. To create a project that I would be proud to call my own. I wanted to write the kinds of pieces I would want to read. And I wanted to keep up with it. I made a promise to myself that I would update on a regular basis and would make those posts the best they could be.
Today marks a whole year of Just Plain Something. This is really the first personal project that I’ve kept going for this long. I am incredibly proud of myself. When I was sick of school and confused about what I wanted to do, I at least knew I had Just Plain Something and that I was on the right track. When I go back and read my older posts, I am actually impressed with what I have done. I am proud to put this out into the world every week.
I want to thank my readers for staying with me. Every comment I get is that much more encouragement to keep this going. So thank you for reading and thank you for coming back. I have some great things coming up for the site and I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride.
Stay tuned.
Congrats on sticking it out a year, that, in and of itself, is something to be proud of.
Cheers to more years!
