On July 6th, 2009, I wrote my first post and review on what was then justplainsomething.blogspot.com. The site design was clunky, the font was off and I wasn’t quite sure what I was doing. All I really wanted to do was make a place for me to share my love of movies with the rest of the internet. Two years and 254 posts later, I’m proud to say Just Plain Something is going strong.

I love this site and its fans. Before I leave for RvBTO 2011, I wanted to write a quick post just to thank everyone who has supported me. First, my family and friends for being there from the very beginning. Second, the members of the JPS Facebook group and my Twitter followers. Third, the members of the Large Association of Movie Blogs, and finally, every reader who has ever bookmarked my site, commented or sent a post forward to a friend. You all help motivate me to put out the best content I possibly can, so thank you for that.

I’ve got some new aspects to the site in the works, so keep checking back. And here’s to another year of movies, good and bad.
