Off-Screen: Post-PAX 2011

This weekend I went to my very first PAX, which was just so much fun. I actually wanted to thank everyone who made my weekend just so lovely. First of all, my friend Nick for hosting me and pretty much pulling for me to make the trip for the past ten months. I also wanted to thank the RoosterTeeth staff for being so friendly and letting me chill at your booth, and all my RoosterTeeth community friends who lavished me with the love and friendship I’ve come to expect from them. Thanks to the GameScoop crew for letting a longtime fangirl hang out with you like one of the cool kids (Greg Miller, you are the best), and for the IGN fans I met at the party on Friday for just being so much fun. Lastly, I want to thank Just Plain Something’s superfan Karli for hanging out with me so much this weekend and for being my date to the concerts on Saturday.

Since this is my website and I can do what I want, I thought I’d share the handful of pictures I managed to remember to take. They are mostly of me hamming it up, but each of them comes with someone else… mostly hamming it up. I’m seriously, practically every picture is super goofy… just the way I like it, come to think of it.

Me with RvB‘s Gus Sorola, the voice of Simmons
JPS superfan Karli, a naked pink chick and… some other girl.
IGN’s Greg Miller and me in quite possibly the classiest picture ever. I think it’s the glasses and the fact that we’re badass.

Yours truly with Internet sultan and occasional CliqueClackian Wil Wheaton. He might be trying to eat my head.
Me and Jonathan Coulton in my favorite picture of the weekend (sorry Greg, close 2nd).

If you did make it to this website via one of my business cards from PAX, thank you for coming this way. Check out my non-PAX related posts, of which I have many. And feel free to follow me on the Twitter, so that I can keep in touch with all of you lovely people.<3

The naked pink chick is Ms. Splosion Man. She's from a game you need to play! Too bad she looks better than me 😉

I'm so glad you got to come experience all that is PAX: exclusive content, awesome people and a chance to let your inner nerd roam free!
