First of all, I want to thank all the people who have watched Just Plain Series since I started doing the show back in the fall. It means a lot to us that you’re watching and sharing the videos – the High School Musical 2 review has had the most first week views of the any episode of the show to date.
Of course, since I’ll be finishing up the HSM series in the next video, I have a decision to make: what series do I review next? I certainly have some ideas on what I can do, but as my faithful readership, I thought I’d bounce it over to you … what movie series would you like to see me review?
Somethings to consider – while I don’t mind at all reviewing something outside my comfort zone, I’m not a huge fan of horror movies for the most part, so I’d prefer to not dive into something like the Halloween series until I’m more comfortable as a video reviewer. I also reserve the right to split up a series; if I take your suggestion of a franchise with 8 parts, I’ll probably end up reviewing the first two or three films and then take a break with another series to maintain my sanity. It would also help if the series is something I can get relatively easily in an American store or through Netflix … so, incredibly obscure movies might not be feasible unless you’re willing to hunt copies down for me. And of course, I reserve the right to come up with something myself for the next series and save your suggestions for a later day. Besides that, I look forward to your ideas. You can either email me at justplainsomething (at) hotmail (dot) com or comment in the box below.
Thank you again and again for supporting Just Plain Series. Mike and I are really pleased with how they’ve turned out and we’re happy to see ourselves improve our filming and editing skills as we continue the project. We look forward to continuing this crazy ride with you.
If you're up for 4 movies, 2.5 of which are so horrible they'll let you have lots of room for snark, why not watch the 4 Star Trek movies with the TNG crew? Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, and Nemesis. Can you take the sheer crapitude of the last two movies?
Star Trek is definitely on my "Have to review this series" list, but I'm a little nervous because I'm such a Trek amateur.
Transformers.
Spider Man.
-Incredible Hulk movies (2 movies) , or tv movies (3 movies)
-Blair Witch Project (2 movies), it's horror….BUT not really
-Blade movies (3 movies…again horror BUT not really)
