I have 26 hours until I see Deathly Hallows pt. 2. To be honest, I’m excited but also quite sad, both as a fan and a blogger. My love for the Harry Potter series has been a big part of Just Plain Something since the beginning, and while my love for the books and films won’t be gone, there will be less Potter film news from here on in. In other words, I don’t know how often I’ll be posting PotterWatch posts. I’m not resigning the column, but obviously I won’t be publishing them nearly as often. But as you all know, the series we love never really leave us. And there’s always Pottermore.

Besides anticipating Pt. 2, I’ve been enjoying a wonderful fan film called The Battle of Hogwarts, which you might remember me writing about in June. You can read my review of the short film over at CliqueClack for their Potter Week celebration, but I want to stress that any HP fan really needs to see this. I’m stressing it so much that I’m posting it right here!

As of now there are only three of the five videos up online, but I got to preview all of them and let me tell you, the last two chapters are fantastic. Make sure to check them out tomorrow and Friday.

And since I have you here, I might as well announce that I have something special for this weekend aside from my Deathly Hallows review (although that’s coming, too), so keep an eye out. And thanks again for reading.
